The Lost Art of Ceilings was established in 2004. The creation of the company began with the inspiration of historic architecture and design. All the beauty that has been in our history of decorative ceilings, chandeliers, murals, and moldings has been pushed aside in the new construction phase of faster, quicker, ‘must have now’ developments.

The owner of Lost Art of Ceilings, James Edwards, has been in the construction trade his whole life. He was raised with a family of five boys who all became quality custom carpenters in many different states. He has done commercial construction in Southern California on hotels such as the Biltmore & Mondrian Hotels. He specializes in residential custom carpentry and also has strong expertise in his design capabilities. “Quality is the key,” says owner of the company, James. He sees all of his jobs through from start to finish. James has a lot of experience working with high profile clientele but also enjoys working with the homeowner who is looking to update or improve their home into that dream home they have always imagined.
